Join Me Every Wednesday For A New Tip Of The Week
I’m sure you know that “Excuseitis” is not a real disease, but I think it should be. Making excuses prevents us from accomplishing many things in our lives. No one can cure us of this disease except you yourself.
Excuses are rationalizations we make to ourselves about people, events, and circumstances. They are invented reasons we create to defend our behavior, to postpone taking action, or simply as a means of neglecting responsibility.
Everyone is guilty of making excuses, and I know that people will continue to make them until they realize that excuses are just that- excuses.
How to Stop Making Excuses
1. Recognize the Need to Step out of Your Comfort Zone
2. Focus on Your Motivation
3. Fight the Fear of Failure
Remember you have control of this disease, so look in the mirror and face it.
